There are several projects in the pipeline, however at this early stage nothing has been finalised, so you'll have to keep an eye on this space for further updates.
The Dublin Castle Sand Sculpture exhibition, which has been held every August for the previous six years, will not happen this coming summer. Due to financial restraints we have had to put this event on hold. We are looking for a sponsor for the possibility of reinstating the event for the summer of 2009 and will post more news as it arises.
We would like to take this time to thank all of you who have visited us and supported us in Dublin Castle over the years. Hopefully 2009 will bring more opportunities.
Abroad
Projects overseas have been plentiful so far this year. Starting with a large ice and snow sculpture event in the heart of Berlin and a competition in Korea. More projects abroad are coming in all the time and the calendar is beginning to fill up. With offers in Denmark, England, Portugal and many more. |
